FORUM OF INTERNATIONAL RESPIRATORY SOCIETIES (FIRS)

The Forum of International Respiratory Societies (FIRS) is an organization bringing together the world’s leading international professional respiratory societies to promote global equity in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease, to improve lung health.

 

GLOBAL ALLIANCE AGAINST CHRONIC RESPIRATORY DISEASES (GARD)

The Global Alliance against Chronic Respiratory Diseases (GARD) is a global network convened by the World Health Organization (WHO) of stakeholders with a vision of “a world where all people breathe freely”.  It is a voluntary alliance of national and international organizations, institutions and agencies committed towards the common goal to reduce the global burden of respiratory diseases.

 

NCD ALLIANCE

The NCD Alliance is a formal, membership-based, non-governmental organization (NGO) in Geneva, Switzerland.  It is dedicated to a world in which everyone can live a healthy and productive life, free from the preventable suffering, stigma, disability and death caused by noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).  The NCD Alliance maintains strategic relations with the World Health Organization (WHO), UN and governments and is at the forefront of elevating NCDs onto the global health and development agenda.
